Electronics
“So far I’ve connected my internet modem, my WiFi router, my security camera base, my security alarm and my laptop, all this electronics worked well while running on battery during a power outage I had recently until the power came back 2 hours later.”

Not enough power for my computer and my peripherals
I use for mini power outages so as not to lose power on my computer, keep my Wi-Fi open etc.
If the outage is prolonged I close everything except my wifi and it lasts about 4 hours
but this one even a “flick” and everything was turned off
it is probably strong enough for my wifi only but not for the screen and the PC in addition, even if it’s just that to close and save everything immediately when the outage occurs…

Works as described. I have around 80 of these in my warehouse environment. No issues.

Died after 5 months, battery not replaceable
I’m an IT professional and have been for 30 years. I have bought, sold and serviced batteries in dozens upon dozens of APC UPSes over the years and have always sworn by them. (I’ve had some bad experiences with Cyberpower and TrippLite.)
I bought this unit (BVN650M1) thinking it was essentially the same as the identical-looking BE600M1. It died after about 5 months. The end user had to unplug it because she said it started squealing. I tried to open it up to test the battery, but I couldn’t without going out to buy a special screwdriver with a 6-inch narrow shaft. The manual says that the battery is not user-serviceable anyway, so it’s not worth any more effort on my part.
Boo hiss APC. I expect much better from you.

I really like APC Uninterruptible Power Supplies, I have five of the BK500 in service now for my light loads and three of the 750VA machines for larger loads.
I bought the BVN650M1 as a replacement for one of the BK500s that died after about 8 years service. During setup, the unit kept alarming, indicating either the battery wasn’t connected or the battery had failed. After plugging it in for 12 hours (turned off), the unit installed without issue. Apparently the battery arrives uncharged and starting it up under heavy load triggers the alarm.

This unit seems to work. However, it does have a strong “plastic” smell. I’ve had mine about 10 days. I’ll give it another week or so to dissipate.
