Bought 3rd party that had tension issues (could barely moved the thumbsticks). Returned it and went with the organic…. Perfect feel and response

First I would like to let all my open source friends know that this controller works really well in Linux out of the box, but only with a cable. It’s difficult to make it work wireless for some reason. Just don’t install the xbox driver and use the default one that comes with the OS.
Now, about the controller itself. The controller is solid, heafty and seems to be a good quality. Buttons and triggers are sensitive and are overall quite nice and give a satisfying feedback when pressed (just the buttons and upper triggers, lower triggers don’t have feedback).
However, for me there is a big issue with this controller – it feels quite unnatural to hold for me, even after playing with it for 20+ hours. The main issue is that with the natural grip on this gamepad the fingers lay on the lower triggers and to press the upper triggers, the fingers have to be bent in an unnatural way. I also find the location of the left joystick to be not as natural as the right joystick, but I got used to it relatively quickly. Overall I think I prefer the PS controller layout more, but this is also a pretty solid controller.
Another thing that I don’t like as much, is the vibration on this gamepad. This is not a problem per se, but the vibration is just too strong even if it turned all the way to a minimum without actually disabling it. It seems that this controller have some kind of really powerfull rotors installed and it keeps taking me out of the game because it’s so strong. But I expect that this is probably something that many people will like, so I am just pointing it out.

This is slightly heavier than my previous game controller; this could be due to more durable construction or simply just heavier materials. The button and joystick motions are smooth and responsive without sticking. The controller is less comfortable to hold for long periods than the PlayStation type controllers. However, several other controllers did not function properly with a new computer with Windows 11 installed; but not surprisingly this Microsoft product is fully compatible out of the box.

We had a few problems when using this item. It tends to disconnect randomly.

Bought this for Street Fighter 6 and it delivers

I don’t understand how this is getting negative reviews, it works out of the box and does its job as intended. There are no batteries included so plan ahead if you want wireless gaming, it comes with the cord so its not exactly a problem when you have a dozen in a drawer.
If this controller doesn’t last a year or something, I guess i will revisit this review and knock a star off.
Otherwise, it works.

First of all, when I opened the package and took out the control, it was a bit dusty, nothing serious because it showed no sign of use.
The control is very ergonomic, however I don’t like the anti-slip texture it brings in the lower area, I prefer Liza.
The USB-C cable is very long so it’s handy if you want to play remotely. The compatibility with each game has also been excellent, the controller is always recognizable.
In terms of gameplay, I think the lack of a little more sensitivity when pressing the buttons or in this case the Sticks, although I think this is more personal, I really like sniper games and here the sensitivity of the controller (not the game) is vital.
In general terms, very good control and if you want to play something very competitive you can opt for the ELITE, but for normal gaming it is excellent.

Very responsive, very long cable to my laptop, so nice.
