It arrived a day earlier than expected! in sealed packaging and very well packed. So far it has turned out to be a very good purchase.

Receive the OC version. Brand new and sealed unit. UPS shipping is very bad though, delayed delivery for 4 days until I called in and schooled them.
OC just to try, but this card do not need any additional OC. Probably best to leave it in factory default OC so that it runs on less power and cooler. But nice to know it can still OC further.

Great card, should come down with 4090 getting all the scalping attention now. Several people report three red lights over the power connectors… mine did not do that initially, but did after a few weeks. It’s not a problem, there was an update to GPUtweak software, if you have that installed. There’s a setting that turns those led lights on to show power is present at the connector. It’s a simple switch in the settings page of GPU tweak and the lights will turn off. Not a problem with the card.

Amazing GPU, definitely the fastest for everything: Bitcoin Mining, gaming, design or everything together and at the same time! I can play Ultra High in 4K at over 60 FPS and mine BTC without any problems (with the proper mining algorithm).
The temperatures are worthy of a ROG STRIX playing full in 4K and mining remains at 70-71 Celsius with a utilization of 99 -100% and memory in 17-18 GB with Power limit by default and core clock in +100 and memory at +1000 MHz, although the real potential seems to be if you apply liquid cooling as I constantly see which limits the performance by temperature according to GPU-Z, I still don’t modify the voltage control since I really don’t need because it’s overkill in everything.
Raises Cyberpunk 2077 in Psycho quality with the CINEMATIC_RTX parameter in 4K HDR and DLSS in Balanced with an average of 50-55 FPS, this in conjunction with a Ryzen 5600X and 32 GB of RAM at 3200MHz, on the other hand Crysis Remastered in Can it Run Crysis quality? In 4K HDR at 43-55 FPS in open areas with action occurring.
To render 4K videos or content creation is more than excellent if you have the latest versions of the software, you could certainly render some Michael Bay movie with this thing.
RGB is great, you control it without problem with ASUS Armoury Crate.
It’s a considerably long GPU but in most mid-tower ATX cases it should enter smoothly, I have a Cooler Master Masterbox Mesh ARGB TD500 and I have plenty of space in front of the GPU, yes, make sure that your power supply is at least 850 Watts (80 plus Gold) and you have 3 8 PIN PCI-E power cables Dedicated, do not place cables that have the fork for 2 8-PIN as you will limit the performance of the card in addition to overheating the power cord.
The materials of manufacture are of the highest quality, ASUS after all, if you know the brand, you will know that you pay an extra but it is worth every penny.

MSRP has changed a bit and with Strix/ROG branding (or any AIB) you should expected these cards to be more than the ~$1500 Founders edition, this is the way. However, scalpers gaming the system is incredibly frustrating and I ain’t got time to watch twitter bots for weeks trying to catch a stock drop. So when I purchased, scalper markup was ~20% and that was an absolute act of desperation on top of already terrible value. Today’s prices of nearly 75% over – forget about it… Makes my deal seem good!
As for the actual product, it’s great. Yes it can play all the games and do all the things, that was never the question. Yes it was a massive upgrade over my 3 generations old middle tier card. No it’s not a good financial decision, but I will surely hold on to it at least 3 years like my last card, and it will still probably be playing games at respectable rates. So in that way, I am glad I got it. It’s quite large and heavy, significantly more than my old card which felt like it barely fit in my compact case. To my surprise I jammed this card right in no problems. Barely 1/4″ to spare and I had to take my front fan out to complete the job, but I was able to get it all back together. I in fact like the edge to edge look.

I’ve wanted to have a 3000 series card for a while but as we all know it was either not possible to get one or the price was so high above MSRP that you’d have to sacrifice a kidney to buy one.
Due to the recent crypto crash, prices have dropped. So I finally took the plunge and let my impulse win for once.
Seeing the reviews on this page made me very nervous while waiting for the card to arrive. From people talking about the card not actually being “new” to people talking about horrendous coil whine, I was ready to be disappointed. The sellers “Nationwide-Distributors” were very tentative to my questions and very quick to suggest contacting them if the card was found to be used. But to my surprise the card is actually new and unused. Due to the price point I don’t think anyone expects this card to perform poorly. But its the noise level that is surprisingly quiet and the temperatures haven’t reached above 65C when maxing out games like Escape from Tarkov and DOOM Eternal with RTX on.
Very pleased with the card and the sellers.

My only regret about this purchase was that I purchased it prior to the death of mining so I paid a bit more for it than I could have if I had waited. All-in-all its a great GPU, aesthetically one of the best looking 30 series cards on the market.
One issue I have with this GPU is that the LEDs above the 8-pin power connections on the card itself will sometimes turn on after I wake it up from sleep mode. This is apparently a fairly well documented issue for 30 series cards.. the assumption is that it is due to having cable extensions (which honestly makes no sense since every other series of card runs fine with cable mod extensions) – this issue does not seem to impact the performance of the device and from what I have read is actually the GPU wanting/needing more power. I have a 1000w corsair PSU so there is no issue with power delivery.. but it is still concerning to see three red lights appear randomly. It would be nice if they could roll out a fix for this within one of the updates.
